As the Regional HR Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that people matters are managed effectively and that the teams are supported to thrive.About the Role:
As the Regional HR Manager, you’ll be the key HR contact for Branch Managers and employees within the region, providing expert guidance on all people-related topics. You’ll work closely with Branch Managers, empowering them to make informed decisions and fostering a culture of engagement and performance excellence. Your role will involve managing complex Employee Relations cases, supporting the HR function with continuous improvement initiatives, and overseeing various projects throughout the year.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive HR support to Branch Managers and employees, addressing queries, challenges, and providing effective solutions.
- Actively support the UK HR People Strategy and drive initiatives for positive change.
- Lead the completion and action plans for the annual company Engagement Survey within your region.
- Manage Employee Relations matters including unauthorised absence, disciplinaries, grievances, and sickness absence.
- Lead on the people side of business restructure programs, including site acquisitions, TUPE, and redundancy.
- Collaborate with managers on recruitment planning, development, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, staying updated on relevant UK Employment Law changes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a true HR generalist role.
- Familiarity with shift-based working patterns in a multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK Employment Law and experience managing complex people cases.
- Proven experience in business restructure projects, redundancy programs, and TUPE.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent applied HR experience.
