You will be working in a positive culture alongside Mental health First Aiders.Main duties of the jobAs an Endoscopy Nurse, you will be responsible for the everyday running of the service. This will include the patient pathway from admission to discharge, assisting the Consultant during the procedures, preparing the room and equipment for the procedures, assessments, audits, supporting junior staff and assisting the senior nurses, link roles, etc.Our endoscopy unit is supporting and working with the Bowel Cancer Screening program, Paediatric team, Respiratory team, Capsule endoscopy, PEGs and Gastropexies, Cancer services and Gastroenterology.About usWe are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with fivehospitals and community clinics serving a local population of around 800,000 people. - Recent clinical experience in an Acute Trust (min 6 months)
- Demonstrates patient focused approach.

- Previous Endoscopy experience

- Well-developed verbal & written communication skills.
- Ability to develop working relationships with others.
- Patient focus approach, calm, level headed
- Basic IT skills.
- Time management and personal organisation skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively

- Awareness of the GRS and JAG
- Venepuncture, Cannulation, IV drug administration.
