Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to work in our small animal Spay & Neuter Clinic at The Mayhew, Trenmar Gardens, London, NW10 6BJ.

You will be part of a team of Academic, RCVS & technical staff responsible for delivering a high standard of technical support and teaching within the Spay & Neuter Clinic. You will work with our fourth-year students on site as the RVN for these procedures to help give them practical, hands-on experience, providing a high standard of animal care and welfare to all animals undergoing surgery. 

About you

You will be a qualified Veterinary Nurse, holding Registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as an RVN. With experience working with dogs and cats preferably in a veterinary clinical environment, you will also have understanding of health and safety and animal welfare regulations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a part time RVN looking to work on set days during University term times only for two days per week. You will need to be available on Tuesday and Wednesday each week (16 hours/week) during University terms (20 weeks per year).
