Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Religious Education to secondary school students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and critical thinking.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through a variety of assessment methods.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and school staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Religious Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and educational best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
