Rent Accounting Apprentice Job description

We have an exciting opportunity within our Housing department for a fixed term apprenticeships within our Rent Accounting team. Our Housing department is one of the many services that keep the authority running; making sure that Powys is a great place to Live, Work, and Play.

The successful individuals will take up a 2 year fixed term paid apprenticeship studying towards a recognised housing/Admin qualification, Business Admin L2/3. As well as receiving a fantastic grounding in the industry and an understanding of how we operate, this could be a springboard into a number of exciting opportunities in the future.

As an apprentice you’ll enjoy a wide variety of tasks, working closely with more experienced professionals who will be only too happy to mentor and guide you through your formal qualification.

We’re looking for bright, ambitious and enthusiastic individuals with an appetite for learning and who love working as part of a team. You’ll need a good academic track record, excellent communication skills, and be able to demonstrate a keen interest in rent accounting in the Housing team.
