– THE ROLE –

The post holder will contribute to the work of the AHRC-funded Maritime Trail project conducting high-quality research and development activities.  They will be responsible for developing a multimedia AR 3D binaural application for mobile devices that aims to improve international tourist and local visitor experience along the coast of Ireland and integrate various features of Irish vernacular maritime tangible and intangible heritage.

– ABOUT YOU –

The post holder must have:

– First or Upper Second Class honours degree in a relevant academic subject (Animation; Games Design; Visual Communication; Interactive Media or equivalent).
– Relevant experience in industry standard software development (e.g., game design; UX/UI; multimedia app development).
– Experience of implementing contemporary game design and sound technologies.
