This post will involve working on the MyPeBS project, which has been funded by the European Commission Horizon 2020 project to evaluate the effectiveness of risk-adapted breast cancer screening for women across several European countries.  The present post will contribute to a mixed-methods evaluation of the effects of risk-adapted screening in multiple healthcare contexts.

The main purpose of the post is to analyse quantitative trial data on psychosocial outcomes at one year post-randomisation, and to produce manuscripts for publication.

The successful applicant will be based in the Manchester Centre of Health Psychology http://research.bmh.manchester.ac.uk/healthpsychology and be part of a wider multidisciplinary team, working particularly with Prof David French (health psychologist) and Prof Gareth Evans (clinical geneticist). It will also involve working closely with other researchers at multiple European countries.  The post-holder will be affiliated with Manchester NIHR Biomedical Research Centre (Prevention and Early Detection theme).
