Are you an experienced Research Grants Coordinator looking for a new challenge? The Cross School Initiative Hub is a new team providing a range a professional services support to key academic programmes within the University’s Academic Division.

In this exciting new role, you will work across the Universities key academic programmes, leading the administrative support for research grant funding, whilst ensuring University policies and procedures are followed.

Working alongside professional staff within all programmes, you will bring together existing support staff in the programmes and provide a range of advice and expertise to the programmes and deliver a high quality, responsive service.

The Role

You will cover a full range of services including, support to those who are applying or considering applying for research grant funding and expertise on financial reporting. You will be required to develop systems and processes as necessary to ensure they remain effective and fit for purpose.

Working alongside academic and professional services staff this is an opportunity to build resilience and create a high quality and responsive service for the University’s high profile academic programmes. 

You will be a key member of the new team, reporting to the Cross School Initiatives Hub Manager, working closely with the Finance Manager and colleagues in the Research Office.

Location

The University is supportive of hybrid working, where some work is undertaken on University premises and some in a remote working environment. The aim of our approach is to enable as many staff as possible to work in a hybrid way if they wish and where their role allows. The role requires some days per week onsite (exact days to be negotiated).
