As a result, we now have a unique opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional to join the team as a Resourcing Adviser, where you will provide expert advisory support to University colleagues on recruitment and wider resourcing practice.
The Role:
As Resourcing Adviser you will utilise your extensive recruitment knowledge to contribute to the identification and delivery of effective solutions to a range of talent attraction projects. As a You will provide expert advice on complex/specialist resourcing issues to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that recruitment is delivered in a way that is effective, transparent and reflects emerging best practice. This will be achieved through responding to enquiries from Departments, leading/attending working group meetings on specific issues, supporting the delivery of new and enhanced recruitment/resourcing initiatives and developing guidance that communicates best practice. You will also:
- Lead/support projects which enhance the University’s ability to attract, assess and appoint talented staff across all staff groups.
- Research and monitor external trends, evaluate their appropriateness for the University and take forward guidance and proposals as appropriate.
- Develop and implement strategies for embedding best practice relating to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
- Obtain, analyse and present data relating to the University’s recruitment and resourcing activity and media return on investment.
- Provide training and briefing to colleagues across the University that promotes best practice.
About You:
You will join us with:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the full recruitment lifecycle, with an up-to-date knowledge of relevant employment legislation.
- Experience of developing and implement strategies for embedding best practice relating to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
- Experience of utilising appropriate media (including social media) to support talent attraction.
- The ability to convey information in a variety of formats, both verbal and written. Experience of providing written staff communications/guidance is highly desirable.
- The ability to engage, collaborate with, and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisation, time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
