Job description: dunhill – Retail Training Manager(permanent, full-time)HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?As a Retail Training Manager you will working closely with the Head of Commercial Training to manage the timely creation, distribution and delivery of retail training materials across a variety of formats globally, You will be planning the retail training calendar for the Western Region and delivering training directly to retail teams and wholesale partners in these markets.Key responsibilities:Creation of seasonal product training documents
- Producing engaging, informative and brand aligned training documents in PPT/PDF format on a seasonal basis
- Working closely with Merchandising, Marketing, Product Development and Design teams to gather the information needed for the training documents
- Working with our internal customers – the Markets, to ensure the documents meet their needs
- Creating and sharing a delivery schedule to ensure the materials are distributed on a timely basis
- Working with Head of Commercial Training to deliver TTT sessions with the markets ahead of each season (remotely via Teams or in the markets)
- Maintaining and updating the Product Essentials documents that support the Seasonal training
- Ensuring all materials are uploaded to the online Retail Training SharePoint resource library
Filming and producing training videos
- Working closely with the Brand Image team to utilise any Brand assets
- Working with the Head of Commercial Training on filming and producing short, engaging and informative videos
- Working with the Merchandising teams on content (mix & match, product highlights, capsule launches etc)
- Distribution via SharePoint and LMS
Authoring mobile e-learning courses for the retail micro learning app
- Creation of short and engaging mobile e-learning courses / quizzes using the Ed App quick authoring tool
- Courses developed to support the seasonal training as well as brand stories and selling ceremonies
- Supporting the gamification elements across the Markets
- Driving engagement with the mobile learning app globally
Authoring e-learning courses for the LMS (learning management system)
- Using the Articulate e-learning quick authoring tool to update current e-learning modules and create new content – in particular our Product Essentials and Client Experience modules.
Designing and delivering a training plan for the Western Region
- Working closely with the Western Region team to plan and deliver training sessions in stores across product knowledge, client experience and selling skills
- Work closely with L&D specialist to share, track and report all the retail training initiatives on LMS
- Supporting the Wholesale team to deliver training to partners
Client Experience
- Supporting the successful implementation and future coordination of the ‘dunhill service signature’
- In partnership with the Head of Commercial Training, delivering client experience and selling skills training in the UK and potentially other markets
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- You will ideally have a background in retail and an understanding of delivering a great client experience and selling products within a premium or luxury environment
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Photoshop and Acrobat are essential
- Proficiency in InDesign and video editing applications are desirable
- Ability to create engaging e-learning content and to create quick video content in terms of filming and production using basic equipment such as iPhone and gimbal
- Ability to assess information, understand important points, and be able to write in a clear, succinct, descriptive, and engaging way.
- Ability to plan content, liaise with stakeholders, create content and deliver according to a set calendar
- Proven project management and time management skills, time management
