Location: Remote or some travel to local office might be required

Spinwell is recruiting for a Risk Assessor for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RISK ASSESSOR JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Define minimum viable product for “fume cabinets” dealing with high harm drug threats that client faces across all modes of entry for Goods into UK.
  • Assess if current “fume cabinets” meet newly defined minimum viable product.
  • Clearly articulate threat posed to Officers from exposure to Fentanyl and other high harm NSO’s such as Nitazenes
  • Deliver a standard operating process for how client should test samples of Fentanyl and NSO’s such as Nitazenes – to include details of suggested PPE and Equipment requirements.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE RISK ASSESSOR

  • Understanding of threat levels of Fentanyl and NSO’s
  • Deliver accurate Health and Safety advice, including appropriate PPE and equipment to use when encountering and testing Fentanyl and NSO’s
  • Standard Operating process when encountering and testing for NSO’s across all modes of entry into UK
  • In depth knowledge of dealing with high harm substances such as Fentanyl and NSO
  • In depth knowledge of Health and Safety requirements when encountering high harm drugs
  • Experience in translating Health and Safety requirements into useable operational safe systems of work.
  • PhD qualification relevant to safely dealing with high harm substances and or drugs.
  • Experience of drug testing process
  • Experience of Health and Safety requirements when encountering high harm drugs.
  • Experience with working with law enforcement organisations.
