Job Summary:
Consulting Manager is responsible for managing the Consultant capacity planning, hiring, enabling, and managing S/4HANA Public Cloud and ByDesign Consultants working in the US. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Professional Services people management and the SAP ecosystem and is familiar with the challenges of resourcing and staffing the S4HC projects in support of existing and pipeline projects in the US.
Sapphire has about 30 Consultants, which is growing at a rapid rate in the US, who will report into this role through Line of Business (LOB) Leads who will be helping with day-to-day management of the Consulting team. Leadership in helping to shape and continually evolve a quickly growing practice is essential.
This role requires expertise in managing SAP S/4HANA Cloud Consultants and is based in the US.
As Sapphire expands its S/4HANA Cloud based projects, this role will work with US Leadership Team in building a capacity plan as well as a learning plan to hire and enable LOB consultants to upskill to support Sapphire’s SAP S/4HANA Cloud projects.
Responsible for the health of our projects, the role will manage the supply of consultants to match the demand generated by the pipeline created by Sales and Presales activities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement consistent plans to hire and get LOB consultants ready for staffing the pipeline projects.
- Develop and implement consistent Learning paths (by LOB/Role) to enable consultants on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and other Sapphire’s product or service offerings.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders, such as Program Management Office (PMO) and its Project Managers– to ensure timely staffing to execute the projects when they are handed over from Sales to Delivery.
- Manage customer expectations and ensure customer satisfaction with regard to the quality of consulting services provided by the consultants.
- Identify and resolve delivery issues.
- Develop and implement best practices for delivery excellence.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in the Professional Services in SAP Software industry delivering consulting services.
- Experience managing SAP Consultants, and working with Solution Architects and Project Managers.
- Experience in delivering projects to a large and diverse customer base.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with a team of cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Pay & Benefits:
The salary range for this role is from $160,000 – $200,000 USD + a variable compensation component based on individual, team, and company performance metrics.
