The Opportunity:
This is an exciting Field Sales opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic, energetic individual with a flair for interior design to join a successful global manufacturer and distributor of floor and wall tiles within their U.K. Sales Team. A ‘tenacious sales professional’ would describe you, and you’ll have a desire to be hungry for the sell! The purpose of this role is to develop/exceed sales levels across a well established dealer network, working from home (ideally around the Bristol area), making your own appointments, controlling your own diary, travelling throughout Wales and the South West area, and develop sales across your retail Dealer network.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and exceed territory sales by product group and brand, versus previous years and current targets set. Working across the M5/M4 corridor, working from home and occasionally staying away.
- Maintain and develop a rapport with new and existing dealer networks within the Area Sales Representative’s geographic territory.
- Become a product expert through training and by researching company literature, such as brochures for product/technical information and prices.
- Deliver new product presentations and assist dealers with calculating quotes for projects.
- Promote and train retailers on new products, technical information, and advise of any discontinued stock.
- Provide feedback to internal departments such as Customer Services, Marketing, Purchasing, Production and Warehouse.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Proven sales experience working within an Interior Design related business, selling to a Distributor / Dealer network.
- Possess excellent communication skills and a proven sales ability, being able to be able communicate product information clearly and concisely.
- Have an enjoyment of driving with a full (ideally clean) driving licence and be able to stay away from home on business on a regular basis.
- Be highly organised with good route planning and time management skills.
