A fantastic opportunity awaits to join this leading online ECommerce business based in Bournemouth. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in every stage of the process, ensuring that products are not only correctly set up on the systems but also configured accurately, added to group websites, and merchandised to the highest standards in accordance with industry best practices.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with Ecommerce and web development teams to configure intricate products.
- Partner with the Trading team to oversee the development, management, and merchandising of new products.
- Drive progress in setting up elements and processes for new products.
- Provide support in researching third-party manufacturing or supply options for products not yet producible in-house, aiming to quickly enter trial markets.
- Assist in business development efforts, particularly in the construction of new websites.
- Regularly report on and optimize new product introductions, collaborating directly with trading to enhance success rates.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Marketing qualification/degree, or equivalent marketing experience would be ideal, but not essential.
- Proficiency in handling large product databases, online stores/ERP systems, with expertise in bulk product data management and administration.
- Understanding of product marketing, product management, and broader commercial processes.
- Working knowledge of how ERP systems, online stores, and bulk product data interrelate.
