Job description: Our client based in Quedgeley are a small, fast-growing company which provides educational materials for the aviation industry. Most of their clients come from within Europe but they sell and support their services across the world.

They are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic person to join their team on a permanent basis. You must have the ability to work independently, take initiative and have a practical approach to problem solving. As well as being comfortable working under pressure with an ability to multi-task while retaining attention to detail.

Your main responsibility will be to support the Sales team with all of their administrative functions, acting as a liaison between the team and customers. To be considered for this position you will ideally have previous experience of working in an office environment although, full training will be provided. You must have excellent written and spoken English, with good computer skills and highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities:

-Act as the main point of contact for customers either via telephone or email.

-Develop strategies to maintain, strengthen and grow customer relationships.

-Understand the needs and challenges of each customer, providing each one with guidance and support.

-Identify opportunities to upsell company products.

-Attend exhibitions and meet customers, which could involve opportunities to travel abroad.

-Keep customers informed about products and services.

-Gather feedback and share it with internal teams to improve products and services.

-Keep details of all customers up to date on the CRM system.

-Provide monthly reports on account status.

-Analyse performance and plan follow-ups to assess customer satisfaction.

-Address and resolve customers concerns promptly, liaising with internal teams where necessary.

-Ensure a positive resolution to problems to maintain client satisfaction.

Candidate Attributes:

-Proven experience in a customer focussed environment

-Have a great eye for detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure

-Excellent communications skills over the phone and via email

-A positive, friendly attitude towards working with staff and customers

-Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages

-Ability to multi-task while using time management skills

-Willingness to learn and adapt new skills

Salary: Up to £24,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Expected salary: £24000 per year
