Location: Hybrid in Manchester/Birmingham/London office – flexible for the right candidate

Role Purpose

To assume the role of management of all aspects of the recertification process for management system certification clients, through the identification of anticipated renewal activities on a monthly basis, working approximately 6 months in advance of certificate expiry, issuance of client proposals that are aligned to specific Certification scheme rules and calculations, and liaison with clients to ensure the follow-up activities required for new contracts to be set up are completed.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identification of certificates requiring renewal / recertification and management of associated tracker to monitor process progress, ensuring monthly and annual recertification targets are achieved and client retention maximised.
  • Client liaison to ensure all required information / application forms are available to initiate renewal / recertification process.
  • Completion of required contract review forms (CRFs) and associated documentation for client renewals, extensions to scope, new standards, in line with scheme rules and BV processes.
  • Generating proposals to issue to clients, in line with approved CRFs for renewals, extensions to scope, new standards.
  • Input, update and maintenance of sales data and documents within Salesforce and other internal/external software tools, portals or documents, including for sector specific schemes (e.g. CMX).
  • Follow up and closure of client proposals, inline with BV processes for contract set-up, audit planning, invoicing etc.
  • Responding to sales queries from clients via teams, phone & email, as appropriate.
  • Revision of CRF’s with clients’ updates / change requests, seeking approval of the revised CRF, issuing updated proposal and managing related contract changes in required tools.
  • Resolution of ‘sales fixings’ resulting from technical reviews.
  • Approval of CRFs from other members of the team in line with defined criteria / parameters.
  • Assisting the wider certification team with sales and CRF queries.
  • Support with data analysis in relation to the above activities, including client attrition.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Experience working in the certification industry.
  • Good organisation skills with effective time management and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Effective communicator, both verbal and written to peers, clients and senior managers.
  • Good team player.
  • Good problem-solving abilities.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
