Innocent Energy have the business and technical background and experience, as well as marketing, operations and financial management capabilities to develop a successful business. They need the missing team member who can take the sales and customer service management role to help create a market leading company.

They are looking for motivated people with a genuine interest in renewables to lead the sales and customer service function in the business, delivering renewable energy systems in domestic, commercial and public sector buildings.

Innocent Energy designs, installs, repairs and maintains renewable energy systems including solar PV and will soon branch into other forms of renewables. The company is currently focussed on Surrey, Herts, Bucks, Beds and London and have plans to take the company national.

The Person They’re Looking For…

Innocent Energy want their leadership team to have a stake in the business, with the responsibility and accountability that comes with that role.

The right candidate will be ambitious, have great presentation skills, be keen to learn and continue learning, and want to have some ownership of a business. The only investment you will need to make is the passion and commitment to make the business a success, and your time to learn and earn.

The company want good communicators who are proud of their work, care about the environment and genuinely want to help people reduce their fuel bills.

Ideally, you’ll have minimum 3 years experience in a professional sales environment as well as excellent written and verbal English language.

You’ll need to be confident when speaking to customers about the products they supply so you’ll need either a firm understanding of renewable energy products or a willingness to learn about them.

The role starts with developing the sales function from lead generation through to visiting prospect homes and provide your findings to the Design team to develop the right solution for each customer, right through to building and scaling a sales team to drive a regional and then national team.

The role doesn’t stop with the sale. Innocent Energy want to ensure that their customers get the best out of their systems so they follow up at regular occasions to check the customer is satisfied, as well as build advocacy.

There is NO cold calling consumer prospects, as the company provides leads in the domestic market, although we expect to develop a commercial and public sector offering.

Requirements…

  • Ambitious, self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Focussed and resilient
  • Previous B2C or B2B sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills both on the phone and in person
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment
  • Clean current driving licence
