We are actively recruiting for an enthusiastic and confident Sales Representative to work for a Logistics Courier company based in Leeds (LS27). This is an exiting opportunity for someone who wants to build their own client portfolio by selling a competitive service and relationships building.
Salary: £24,000.00-£26,000 OTE 40,000 per year
Working: Monday to Friday, Flexible working hours – 8hrs between 8am – 6pm
Potential flexibility to work from home
Free onsite parking

Personal Specification

  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • IT literate
  • Good communication skills at all levels
  • Self-motivated
  • Knowledge of the parcel delivery sector
  • Confident in working out quotes

Main responsibilities of the role:

  • Maintaining excellent working relationships with existing customers
  • Building and maintaining a steady growth of new customers
  • Quoting prices to customers as and when required
  • Close working with relationships with the Telesales Department
  • Being the first point of contact for customer issues
  • Working towards team and individual incentives
  • Negotiating with customers to achieve the best price for both the company and the customer
  • Liaison with the Sales Director on a continuous basis
  • Build and maintain a close working relationship with the staff across the company
  • Support the Sales Director in the promotion of business mission.
  • To make outbound calls working from lists given or self directed leads.
  • To sell the parcel rates and get the client to commit or arrange an appointment
  • A strong and continuous focus on business development
