WHERE IS THE ROLE LOCATED? UK-wide with regular travel (occasionally overseas)

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE? Reporting to the Directors of the business, the role covers a number of key responsibilities to ensure regular turnover of used equipment within the home market as well as developing a growing export market for new and used machinery. The role also includes representation at key events and exhibitions, generating sales leads, demonstrating and installing equipment, feedback on product quality and performance.

WHAT EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES DO I NEED?

  • First and foremost, your background will be within farming or agricultural machinery, with a strong affinity and passion for the industry
  • With a switched-on commercial mindset, you’ll have a good radar for business and the ability to proactively seek out new opportunities to add value to the business
  • You’ll have first class communication and interpersonal skills, strong on relationship building with agricultural professionals at all levels from skilled machinery operator to managing director
  • Your organisational skills are excellent; you can plan your own weekly schedule with the ability to respond quickly to enquiries and business opportunities
  • Familiarity with agricultural machinery is key and you’ll be at home in the tractor cab and au fait with modern technology and control systems
  • You’ll be prepared to travel throughout the UK (occasionally overseas), ideally living in a central location, and possess a clean UK driving licence
