The Sap Functional Analyst will successfully deliver projects on time and within budget, configuring and managing system changes independently, acquiring in-depth knowledge of business processes to provide effective support.
Facilitate knowledge transfer to team members and expanding into other modules, generating documentation for business as usual (BAU) support.
Actively participate in SAP implementation across the organization, taking ownership of project areas with minimal support, and effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the business.

Key Accountabilities
- Project planning and requirements definition. Work with the stakeholders to agree the scope and define the business & functional requirements.
- Technical design and implementation. Using knowledge of SAP best processes, map the defined project requirements to the functionality available. Document the requirement and produce a technical specification enabling the IT solution to be built.
- Using (primarily SAP) knowledge skills and/or those of colleagues and external consultants, perform and coordinate the technical tasks to build the IT process.
- Liaise with stakeholders for sign-off.
- Knowledge transfer and user acceptance test. Present the solution to stakeholders, end-users & wider team ensuring they understand their individual roles & responsibilities in the process.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing and refine the solution as required until sign-off is achieved from stakeholders.
- Documentation, training and deployment.
- Perform technical cut-over activities for go-live.
- Support and continuous improvement.
Skills and Experience Required
- Three Years plus SAP configuration experience in one or more of the following modules
- MM/PP and specifically the Procure to Pay process on direct materials, indirect materials, and services. Must be capable of managing all requirements regarding Purchasing RFQs, Outline Agreements, Requisitions, Orders, Invoice Management. Must be conversant with MRP, Production orders, Pricing and Costing.
- FICO and specifically profit centre & cost centre management. Must be capable of managing all requirements regarding general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting.
- SD and specifically, sales orders, pricing procedures, partner profiles, rebates, deliveries, picking, despatching, and invoicing. Dispute management advantageous.
- PP and specifically
- WM/IM and specifically stock control, inventory storage locations, storage bins, stock adjustments, stock movements.
- Knowledge of one or more other core modules is preferable.
- Experience in end user BAU support
- Experience within the food manufacturing sectors is preferred.
- Technically able, business-focused individual with the ability to map processes and develop effective solutions.
- Proven track record of delivering solutions at all levels within an organisation.
- Understanding of the SAP development cycle, Basis landscape and transports system.
- Knowledge of SAPScript and SmartForms, LSMW and User Authorisations would be beneficial.
- Hands on practical approach to problem solving and issue resolution.
- Clear understanding of driving value to the business, robust business acumen.
- Self-motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal skills and team working.
