This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact as we grow the University’s dynamic Schools and Colleges Liaison team. Based from our stunning Derby campus, the role will focus on building strong and sustainable relationships with leaders, teachers, influencers and advisers in target schools and colleges in a designated region of the UK. As a proactive individual, the successful candidate will develop, co-ordinate and facilitate a regional outreach student recruitment plan with the aim to raise the profile of the University and the City of Derby and attract interest in the University and our courses. In addition, you will have the opportunity to lead projects as part of the University’s Student Recruitment and Outreach strategy.

A customer service ethos which matches the University’s values and behaviours is essential; outstanding communication, persuasion and influencing skills are a must, as is a commitment to continuous improvement and a determination for excellence. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate an ability and genuine interest in keeping abreast of the external environment with regards to relevant student recruitment and higher education developments such as Government policy updates and changes in customer needs and wants.
