Job Description

Hours: Full time, permanent, 40 hours per week. During term time a mixture of early and late shifts and one split shift per week, working 5 out of 7 days with alternate weekends off. Out of term time a different rota applies which generally allows for weekends off.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and confident Catering Assistant to join our small, and friendly team to provide the highest standards of catering service, cleanliness and hygiene in the Senior Common Room and across all catering service areas in College. The post holder will be responsible for providing a first-class service to senior academics and their guests, students and external guests who use the College catering facilities.

Out of term time College is extremely busy hosting a variety of international conferences, B&B guests and weddings so the post holder will be required to work with greater flexibility in different catering areas of College.

The successful candidate will ideally have excellent customer service skills and experience in a food and beverage environment within a hotel or college setting, although full training will be given.
