You will be part of a diverse and creative team that is continually striving to offer the best quality products and services that are continuously transforming air travel.Cloud computing continues to allow us to transform and consolidate IT infrastructure, automate workloads, and pursue further levels of innovation. As a Scrum Master at SITA, you will be working with Infrastructure Cloud Engineering Scrum teams on various assignments that use Cloud technology and automation to tackle large-scale challenges.The world is changing. Are you ready to define the future of travel with us?WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Serve as a coach to the Scrum team on Agile principles and practices, helping them to continuously improve their processes and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Development Teams, and other stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Support the Product Owner in managing the backlog and guiding the team to achieve higher levels of scrum maturity.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve product roadmap objectives, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with technical leads and architects to ensure alignment with technical strategies and standards and liaise with other Scrum Masters to coordinate cross-team dependencies and initiatives.
  • Facilitate Scrum events including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and kept within the timebox.
  • Remove impediments to the team’s progress, working closely with other Scrum Masters and organizational entities to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
  • Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress to all affected teams and management and assist with the preparation and participation in Quarterly planning events.
  • Facilitate the team’s efforts in relentless improvement – identifying and addressing areas for adjustment and enhancement.
  • Participate in the Scrum of Scrums or other relevant meetings to ensure alignment and coordination across teams, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of agile practices within the organization.

QualificationsEXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master, with excellent communication and leadership skills, having the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Deep understanding of Agile principles, frameworks and the flexibility to adapt and blend them to suit our unique environment.
  • Excellent skills in facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency along with knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (e.g., Burndown techniques, Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).
  • Experience with Agile Workflow Management Tools like Azure DevOps/JIRA/ Agility/VersionOne.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification
  • Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure
