Job description: SDET/Test Automation Engineer – Java, Python, Selenium sought by leading aviation organisation based in London.**Inside Ir35 – Hybrid working**Role Requirements:
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts, network architecture and experience with integrating systems and services; knowledge of machine-to-machine protocols such as MQTT would be an advantage.
- Software development in Java and associated tools such as IntelliJ and Maven; experience of Python and source control management software (i.e. GitHub, where code repositories are stored).
- Experience with test automation principles / framework development and knowledge of one or more from the following: Jenkins, Selenium (Grid/Hub/Standalone), Cucumber.
- Familiarity with Docker, Docker Swarm and Virtual Machine environments.
- Experience of Linux systems ideally including administration and IP tables, NGINX, BASH scripting; additionally some knowledge of the following operating systems will be of benefit: Windows (desktop and mobile), Android, iOS, MacOS.
- Experience using test management packages (e.g. XRay for Jira; Jira is used for test management and defect reporting).
- Experience with Postgres/pqsl; familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB an advantage.
