A day in the life of…As Food & Beverage Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for most of our guests. Your role will be to welcome guests from all over the world with a friendly smile and exceptional service.Join our dynamic team at The View Hotel as we seek enthusiastic Food & Beverage Assistants for multiple fixed-term positions. Whether you thrive in the vibrant atmosphere of evening service or enjoy the early morning hustle of breakfast, we have a place for you.You will work closely with your team mates to ensure that together each shift is smooth and efficient and deliver the best possible guest experience every time.Based in The View Hotel Eastbourne, you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock.Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our diverse team to uphold brand standards and deliver exceptional guest service.
- Ensure a seamless and enjoyable stay for each guest, addressing any issues promptly.
- Extend a warm welcome to guests during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
- Execute ‘shift procedures’ diligently, maintaining a smart image and adhering to all safety protocols.
- Demonstrate effective communication within the team and across departments.
- Embrace flexibility with 6-8 hour shifts, requiring a minimum commitment of 4 hours per week.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, and other protocols for the well-being of guests and staff.
- Fixed-term contract from April 2024 to September 2024, with potential for further opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in hospitality/food and beverage environments, showcasing initiative.
- Reputation for delivering outstanding service and fostering a positive work environment.
- Commitment to a weekly rota, including weekends and shift work.
- No need for full training in systems and procedures; enthusiasm and a dedication to excellence are essential.
- Valid right to work in the UK.
