Job description: Hi! I’m Amory and I’m working with a local authority in the gorgeous Southwest by the coast that’s seeking a social worker to join their Adult Safeguarding Team!

What will you be doing?
- Support vulnerable adults with a range of backgrounds and needs, primarily those with learning disabilities.
- Conduct various assessments, including Community Deprivation of Liberty Assessments, Care Act Assessments, and Mental Capacity Act assessments.
- Review cases, commission care, and undertake safeguarding work.
- Contribute to reducing wait times and mitigating risks for individuals and teams.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with experience working in Adult Social Care (18-65 years old).
- Strong commitment to safeguarding vulnerable adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
- Ability to conduct face-to-face visits.
- Knowledge of the Care First 6 system a plus.
