Job description: I’m currently working with a local authority seeking an experienced social worker to join their Safeguarding Team in the West Midlands!
What Would I Be Doing?
- Oversee Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection/ Public Law Outline (CP/PLO), and care proceedings, focusing on cases involving Domestic Violence, Neglect, and Substance Misuse.
- Implement a novel Restorative Practice model, prioritising relationships and connections to prevent further interventions and proceedings.
- Enjoy a hybrid working arrangement, with a mix of office and home-based work(varying case to case), managing an average caseload of around 20 cases, mainly CIN.

Requirements
- Hold a recognised social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.

- Familiarity with Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection/ Public Law Outline (CP/PLO), and care proceedings processes is highly advantageous.
