Job description: SEN Teaching AssistantAre you a recent UK-based university graduate eager to gain first-hand SEN Learning Mentor experience before progressing into a PGCE?Perhaps you’re looking to find an SEN Learning Mentor role where you can develop your understanding of learning difficulties before progressing into a career within Educational Psychology.i-teachers are currently working with a wonderful primary school in the Wirral. They are eager to add a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to their classrooms. The mentor would provide in-class support to pupils while supporting the class teacher in planning and implementing lessons.SEN Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

  • Supporting pupils with high levels of SEN needs in and out of class
  • Creating specifically tailored EHCP support for pupils with SEN
  • Monday to Friday role based in one primary school
  • Working hours: 08.30 am – 15.30pm
  • October 2024 to July 2025
  • Paid £450 per week during term time with FREE online CPD courses
  • Located in Wirral

Applicant Requirements – SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Minimum 2:2 UK based university degree
  • Prior experience working with children or young people
  • Strong academic background
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to work with individuals and small groups
  • *NO UK VISA sponsorship available with this role*
