  • Develop and maintain labour cost reports, providing insight and analysis which help drive efficient and optimised use of labour resources.
  • Provide support to People Lead to partner with other finance teams, including Corporate Finance, Procurement, and HR, to develop labour cost savings initiatives.
  • Working alongside HR, ensure accuracy and completeness of all labour data, including workforce analytics, headcount, compensation, and other labour related metrics.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive financial performance, business efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives related to labour productivity.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for labour-related spend and provide insightful management information enabling informed business decisions.
  • Prepare labour trends and budgets, analyse labour patterns and opportunities for improvement to optimise labour efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain labour-related issues and risks, keeping the People Lead informed and seeking advice where necessary.

QualificationsSkills

  • Strong financial analytical skills with experience in managing labour-related spend in a commercial finance role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with senior management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of data.
  • Ability to deliver complex financial analysis on various levels in a clear and concise way.
  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience of working in a global multi-currency environment.
  • Demonstrate experience of driving change and continuous process improvement to meet business needs.
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience working with other databases and reporting tools.
  • Highly organised and able to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified accountant or qualified through relevant experience in an accounting role.
  • Previous experience in a business facing finance role, and in a labour-related spend management role.
  • Experience of developing budgets, forecasts and KPIs, with involvement in setting targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements.
  • Experience in providing financial analysis and modelling to support strategy development and business decisions.
  • Experience in using workforce analytics and labour data to drive efficiency and cost savings.
