Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires a Senior BA with Aligne ETRM(Gas Trading) to be based in their client’s office in London, UK.
This is a hybrid role. You can work remotely in the UK and attend the London office 1-2 days per week.
This is a 6 month temporary contract to start ASAP
Day rate: Competitive Market rate
The Senior Business Analyst (BA) with Aligne ETRM expertise will perform business analysis and execute change activities, including project work and sustainment and improvement enhancements. They will collaborate with Project Managers, developers, and other BAs to provide IT solutions and support to meet business needs in Gas Trading
Key Responsibilities
- Perform IT Business analysis work on projects, discretionary, and operational items, including Business Requirements Definition, Business Solution Design, Functional Specification & Acceptance Criteria, and Acceptance Test Plan and Management solutions.
- Deep expertise in the Aligne (ETRM) application functionality, report writing, and system configuration to meet business requirements.
- Understand and consult on the business processes supported by the Aligne application.
- Apply available standards, methods, and tools effectively and contribute to client’s BA best practices.
- Produce high-standard documentation in technical and descriptive nature.
- Generate innovative approaches to existing problems or new opportunities.
- Follow and implement client’s Information Risk Management policies and procedures.
Key Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Aligne application, 5-8 years of experience.
- Ability to create complex PNL/MTM reports in the Aligne Reporter.
- Takes a systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving and pays close attention to details.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, rapidly changing environment.
- Strong engagement skills, working with senior leaders regularly.
- Strong team-working skills in a virtual environment.
- Strong analytical aptitude to analyze complex problems/requirements and define functionally advanced IT solutions.
- Negotiating, client-facing, communication, assertive, team-leading/team-member skills, supportive.
