The Digital, Data & Technology Group is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the team.
About the role
The Business Analyst will work with and influence senior stakeholders across the University on the scoping, composition and analysis of the portfolio programmes and projects, benefits tracking, options analyses as well as providing relevant portfolio data.
This information will support good governance, effective capital allocation and comprehensive risk management (across financial, operational, and reputational parameters). The aim is to deliver solutions through tangible programmes and projects, offer assurance and benefits realisation across time, cost and quality factors.
You will bring clarity to business problems and throughout the many stages of development and delivery of a project. Working on all phases of the development of new systems and existing solutions that support the University’s business, leading and guiding Customers to clarify, formalise and document their requirements in response to identified business needs.
Work closely with key business stakeholders, the Strategic Projects Office, Project Managers and colleagues to ensure that the solutions that you develop together are both effective and efficient in helping to run the University. Managing new developments or 3’d party resources, including supplier engagements, tenders and relationship management.
About you
- Significant, proven experience of successful functional business process analysis and efficiency identification.
- Experience of project work, including working in teams and on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to lead customers to define their business needs and requirements, documenting, obtaining approval from the customer.
- Be able to convert user requirements into functional requirements.
