Job description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Analyst to join our client’s COVID-19 analyst team. The successful candidate will help develop our client’s COVID-19 commercial analytics producing revenue forecasts and insights into how new products to market can impact disease outcomes. Your insights and output will inform critical decision-making by clients across multiple sectors including, for government, public health, pharmaceutical, medtech, investor and other business sectors.
You should have a good understanding of medical statistics, epidemiology, commercial experience on analysis on market share, demand and knowledge on vaccines and treatments developers. It’s a varied role so we are open to speaking to any data science, Health ecomomist, Outcomes researcher or stats expert with a passion for COVID and vaccines outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the COVID-19 commercial analytics team to turn science related data into clear insights into written and oral analysis for clients
Conduct comprehensive reviews of scientific literature, research findings, and clinical trials to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and potential impact to public health in relation to health economics.
Analyse and interpret data using statistical models and predictive analytics to forecast the impact of roll out of measures on different population groups as well as generate demand and revenue forecasts for COVID-19 vaccine and therapeutics
Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time
Use data visualisation tools to present complex data in a clear way.
Present analysis to pharmaceutical companies, public health authorities, healthcare organisations, and other stakeholders regarding the integration and deployment of vaccines and treatments into public health programs.
Become the client facing expert lead within infectious disease space.
Work closely with data teams to maintain and update databases and other tools to support disease outcome work.
Potential to also assume people management responsibilities over time.
Support competitive intelligence and epidemiology related work on other therapy areas where needed
Skills and Qualifications:
A doctoral degree, or equivalent experiences, in health economics, life science, epidemiology, infectious disease or a related field
Experience in using statistical models, data analysis, and predictive analytics to forecast disease outcomes.
Strong understanding of revenue forecasting, health economics and the evaluation of cost-effectiveness and societal impact of interventions.
Proficiency in analysing and interpreting scientific literature, clinical trial data, and statistical analyses.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team of experts and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze complex data and identify patterns and trends.
Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high standard of output
Proficiency in using data analysis tools such as SAS, R, or Python.
Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of other languages would be an advantage.
Ideally you will be able to work in their London office but some home working and flexibility can be offered.
