The York and North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership is transferring into the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority.
This is an interim role to support the transition communications and ensure progress on key digitial marketing projects, including:
- One front door for business support – brand, marketing and digital solutions
- CRM – leading a programme to bring internal and external teams onto our CRM and ensure a solid practice of data cappture to aid reporting and service delivery
- Support the team to establish and develop the Combined Authority brand and website in readiness for the incoming mayor
- Support the Head of Communications to ensure that any new programmes are onboarded with sufficient consideration for marketing capacity and spend
- Support the development of communications policies that is up to date with social media and other digital platforms and AI usage
The role will also hold responsibility for leading the team to deliver against the communications grid, serving multiple programmes as well as corporate communications. This is an exciting opportunity to lead within a small, yet high performing, innovative and creative team of communications professionals, at an exciting time.
The permanent role of Senior Communications Officer – marketing and digital, will be recruited for the Combined Authority in January, with an anticipated start in mid-May.
