We are currently seeking several experienced software engineers for our associate engineering team who will join our delivery team working within one of the UK’s leading Data Engineering Innovation Labs.

We are currently working with the CDO of a leading global financial services company supporting him in delivering a pioneering transformation across their extensive back-office functions.

Joining the team at the very beginning of this ambitious journey, you will take the lead Data BA role in the newly formed programme team, tasked with redefining, improving, and streamlining data processes.

Key Responsibilities:

The CDO has shaped and defined the overall data strategy, which has been approved and signed off by the board. So, it’s key that you have previous experience in delivering and aligning the user requirements to the approved data strategy.

Forge strong partnerships with the Technology Team to ensure a seamless translation of business and non-functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop a thorough understanding of both local and global business needs, producing functional and non-functional requirements, alongside comprehensive acceptance criteria.

Create visionary user stories and requirements, ensuring they align with our strategic goals and are endorsed by the relevant business stakeholders.

Identify and optimize business capabilities and processes to drive efficiency, while remaining technology agnostic when aligning business requirements with technological solutions.

Lead the Business Analyst community within the project, facilitating collaboration between business stakeholders and solution providers.

Establish a transparent traceability matrix between business requirements and the proposed technical design.

Regularly update process and technology documentation to accurately reflect any changes.

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven market experience as a Senior Data Business Analyst, within a similar greenfield transformational role.

Possess multi-year consulting experience, gained from working within for a strategic management consultancy.

A track record of managing and engaging with senior stakeholders, aligning and translating their needs into business requirements that match the approved Data Strategy.

Extensive expertise in performing business process, gap, capability assessment, and requirements traceability analysis.

Demonstrated ability to identify process optimization and standardization opportunities.

The capability to mediate between high-level business vision and detailed technical analysis.

Experience in leading workshops to gather business requirements from key stakeholders.

An understanding of different delivery models, including SCRUM, Agile and Waterfall.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with systems like Tyche, SAP, AXIS, SQL is considered beneficial.

Expected salary: £650 per day
