Job description: Forward Role are working with a forward-thinking, fast-paced financial services business based in South Manchester. The company offer financial solutions and support to growing businesses across the UK. The company are expanding and looking to recruit an experienced Digital Analyst.As a Senior Digital Analyst, you will be owning the web and digital analytics, and leading the CRO & Testing strategy.You will be analysing digital marketing performance, whilst developing attribution models and working with stakeholders to drive performance. You will be monitoring a variety of KPIs, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, sales and ROI.You will be managing funnel reporting, alongside general end-to-end reporting to understand the overall marketing performance and customer journey. This will involve using Power BI to deliver insightful dashboards and tell stories with the data.The Senior Digital Analyst will also be providing web analytics, looking at onsite performance, optimisation and the customer experience. Provide ongoing journey and funnel analysis, and reporting, to performance, Omni channel & communications teams – adding valuable actionable insight and interpretations from the data.
- Own digital analytics, onsite and app – acting as the GA expert
- Leading the CRO and testing strategy to increase conversion rate and optimise the customer journey
- Drive the data collection strategy and lead the tagging & tracking roadmap
- Supporting the growth teams with actionable insights and an understanding of user behaviour
- Collaborating with the product function to troubleshoot blockers and identify opportunities across the user journey
What does the ideal candidate look like?
- Experienced analyst with a background in digital marketing and web analytics
- Advanced user of SQL and Google Analytics / GA4
- Good understanding of CRO & Testing
- Experience with GTM – understanding of tagging, tracking and data layers is dessirable
- Strong analytics skills, being able to use data to identify opportunities and translate those into actionable recommendations
- Wider knowledge of analysing channel performance – SEO, paid performance marketing
- Understanding of Attribution Modelling
- Experience in driving data quality and accuracy
- Exposure to statistical modelling – attribution, segmentation, predictive modelling etc.
