- Supervise and manage accounting / bookkeeping staff, as well as support their professional development
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual managerial and statutory financial statements for parent and subsidiaries
- Establish and maintain strong financial control policies and procedures to ensure financial reporting compliance (including revenue recognition). Make us IPO ready.
- Oversee fixed assets, including recording depreciation, accounting for any disposals, and intangible asset tracking and amortization (M&A).
- Oversee customer driven inventory management including physical inventory, updating product standard costs and reconciliation of detailed records to General Ledger.
- Manage/optimize efficient tax management and filings for UK parent and US/German subsidiaries.
- Provide financial input to strategic decision making, including tax review, audit implications, and reporting requirements.
- Manage all tax planning, compliance, and reporting (including payroll and corporate tax) for UK parent and US/German subsidiaries).
- Responsible for continuous updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll, invoicing, and procurement
- Collaborate with auditors to ensure proper application of corporate and local accounting standards
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum 10 years of experience leading a financial organization (ideally in a life science multi-national small/medium sized company or CDMO)
- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration. MBA, or (Qualified Accountancy Required – ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CMA, CPA
- Experience with ERP implementations (preferably NetSuite) or significant enhancement projects
- Experience with post-acquisition systems and process integration
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, and prioritize contending workloads in a fast paced high-growth environment
- Proven experience in strategic partnerships with operational leadership.
- Strong attention to detail while having the ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently as well as a strong desire to work as part of the senior management team.
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge and skills in ERPs (NetSuite), Expert in Excel (including Power BI Tools) as well as PowerPoint (including ThinkCell)
- International preferably across (UK, US, and EU).
