Job description: We are working with a leading defence and cyber security company in Cambridge who are looking for talented embedded software specialists to join their R&D team.
You will be utilising your embedded software skills to develop novel solutions that solve real-world security and defence problems. Every project you will be working on will be at the forefront of innovation and you will be taking technologies and ideas from initial concept through to prototyping and manufacturing, utilising the company’s rapid approach to design and implementation.
Projects undertaken by this company are cutting-edge and strictly confidential, so you’ll need to be eligible for UK security clearance.
You will be utilising your embedded C expertise, coupled with ideally python or MATLAB experience to capture, design, develop, document, test and deliver through to the prototype production. You’ll be working closely with fellow engineers from a variety of different disciplines to deliver step changes in defence and security solutions. The company undertake a broad spectrum of projects so this will be highly varied work for you.
To be considered for this role you will need to have hands-on embedded C experience with one other programming language. We are open on where your experience has been gained, as long as you have been working on complex systems, coupled with strong fundamentals and academics. As mentioned above UK security clearance is needed for this role.
