My client is a wold class leading infrastructure solutions company, operating in multidiscipline sectors in Rail, Highways, Energy, Water, Defence and Aviation. Offering expert future shaping solutions, strategic consultancy, digital solutions and complex programme delivery. They are currently seeking a Senior Estimator located in Berkshire (South East). The salary is £75,000- £85,000 with a Car allowance + Package
Job Description:
Some of the main role details include:
-Managing, supervising and allocating work of subordinates within Estimating Team, review final submission deadlines.
-working to strict deadlines
-preparations of quantities from drawings and specifications.
-Prepare abstract of material and sub-contract requirements for sourcing and pricing
-Leading preparations of all elements of major project estimates
-Contribute to identification of risk and pricing of risks throughout the bid and contribute to submission documentation preparation.
-preparations of cash flow forecasts
-Attend site visits during tender period
Requirements
-Experience of managing large projects in either Rail, Highways, Civils or Water
-Experience of client negotiations
-Experience of pricing work under various forms on contract including NEC
-Experience Technical and commercial appraisal of material and subcontractor quotations
-Use of estimating software as a basis of preparing the estimate
Expected salary: £75000 – 85000 per year
