The role

The School of Humanities is seeking to appoint an exceptional Senior Executive Assistant on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave (approximately 12 months). 

This is an important executive role within the School, the main purpose of which is to provide high-level, professional and proactive executive assistance and personal support to the Head of School and School Manager in running the School. The Senior Executive Assistant will manage a small team comprising two Executive Assistants and an Admin Assistant who form the Executive Support Team.

What will you be doing?

The Senior Executive Assistant leads a team of colleagues to provide high-level executive support to the School of Humanities Senior management team, but also to other members of School.   

The role holder will organise their own day-to-day and will provide excellent customer service to colleagues. A typical day in this post finds the Senior Executive Assistant managing the team, providing personal assistant support to the Head of School inc. complex diary management, dealing with day-to-day queries from the team and staff within the school.
