How do we maximise profitability in our existing estate?This Senior Analyst role offers a unique opportunity to partner with the Property team, supporting the business in defining and delivering growth strategies for TJX Europe through the provision of insightful analysis, proactive challenge and improvement to current business practices. This role provides a great opportunity to support the Senior Leadership team, with direct exposure to the European CFO.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the Return on Investment Models to ensure effective strategic decision making on new store openings and existing store relocations * Regularly present analyses and make recommendations to Senior Leadership on store strategy
- Partner with the property team to provide insight, influence and support with the property objectives
- Own post investment reviews to help inform future decision making
- Budgeting and forecasting new store sales, tracking and understanding drivers of performance vs expectations
- Deliver accurate and timely forecasts for capital spend and rent savings
- Continually challenge current thinking and make recommendations on how to optimise business opportunities and minimise risk to the business
- Support on ad hoc financial analyses that drive strategic business decisions
- Lead and develop a Finance Graduate, with direct line management responsibility
Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
- Strong business modelling skills
- Ability to develop relationships and explain financials to non-financial business partners
- Analytical approach to problem solving and acute commercial awareness
- Able to communicate and influence across the business
- Able to present at a Senior Leadership level, making appropriate recommendations
- Ability to line manage and deliver effectively through others
- Power BI experience desirable, but willingness to learn required
- Experience within a consumer facing business (Retail/FMCG) desirable
