You will need good written and spoken communication skills as the role includes liaising with colleagues across the council and internal and external clients and suppliers. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.The role will be:
- To work with service users and/or their agents to resolve issues/queries relating to their assessed personal contributions or billing queries to ensure prompt payment.
- To work with care providers to resolve queries relating to payments.
- To resolve queries in relation to charging at the first point of contact to include problem or complaint investigation and resolution.
- To provide information, advice and guidance to service users and practitioners
- To collect and assess information such as auditing Direct Payments or Income & Expenditure.
- To support service users in managing their direct payment effectively.
