Job description: A fantastic group PLC company and market leader are looking for a Senior Group Reporting Manager. This role will take responsibility for group financial reporting & accounting for this highly dynamic business. Offering hybrid working options and progression opportunities with significant exposure to Group CFO and Group Financial Controller.
- Responsible for the statutory financial reporting process
- Support the management of the statutory reporting for the Group, including drafting of the statutory accounts
- Support the production of accurate group management accounts on a timely basis
- Manage the production of subsidiary Statutory Accounts for all legal entities
- Responsible for ensuring that external Group financial reporting complies with IFRS
- Responsible for planning and execution of the annual and interims audit timetables
- Responsible for preparing audit related papers for the Board and Audit Committee
- Drive continuous improvements of statutory accounting/reporting processes
- Provide feedback and recommendations to the Head of Group Reporting on potential opportunities to optimise and standardise existing methods and processes
- Assist with the documentation of in-scope statutory reporting processes
- Identify and help drive process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reporting activities
- Ensure statutory accounting/reporting compliance
- Ensure up-to-date knowledge and adherence to all applicable statutory reporting requirements
- Ensure adherence to good corporate governance practices by ensuring transparency and integrity of reports prepared
- Assist in the coordination of external audits and all external financial filing requirements
- Be involved in other ad hoc project work
- Support the implementation of the new EPM Planning/Consolidation platform
- Support the integration with the new global ERP system
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 2-5 years post qualified experience
- Experience of Group Consolidations and IFRS of multi-entities.
- Previous experience in advanced excel.
