Senior Healthcare Industry Analyst
Fitch Solutions’ BMI Healthcare Industry division requires a Senior Healthcare Industry Analyst based out of our Manchester office. The role is a hybrid one which requires attendance a minimum of two days a week at our Manchester city centre office.

- The role is part of a collaborative team of analysts, who have deep expertise in their areas of coverage.
We’ll Count on You To:
- As a Senior Healthcare Industry Analyst, you will be responsible for researching, generating and sharing views and forecasts which contribute healthcare thought leadership in a wide variety of healthcare sub-sectors, including medical devices and pharmaceutical therapy areas.
- Assume leadership responsibilities within your team, helping to shape the views on your team and acting in a mentoring capacity to help guide and manage teammates.
- Research, generate and update views on geographic markets and regions, and therapy areas, presenting your views in a range of formats from written analysis to 10-year data forecasts and presentations.
- Constructively challenge and debate your colleagues’ views and have your views challenged and debated.
- Use your knowledge of macroeconomics, political risk and wider sector risk to support and strengthen your healthcare views.
- Lead by example in terms of Fitch Solutions’ working culture; demonstrate proactivity, enthusiasm, professionalism, strong communication and excellent analytical standards; lead the way in terms of showing respect for colleagues and building strong working relationships.
What You Need to Have:
- Prior relevant research and analytical experience required in life sciences, preferably pharmaceuticals or healthcare, which will enable you to demonstrate extensive knowledge of healthcare market fundamentals.
- Qualifications: Degree or post graduate level qualification in life sciences.
- Demonstrable knowledge of / passion for economics and / or politics and their impact on the healthcare industry.
- An excellent standard of written English as well as excellent verbal communication and numeracy.
- Experienced presenter / public speaker who can generate precise views and is capable of adjusting for a range of audiences.
