Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Equipment Integrity support and services, enhancing the company’s maintenance and equipment upgrade offerings.
  • Oversee tenders and offers related to integrity analysis and review projects.
  • Execute comprehensive Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) studies on offshore, vessel, and port cranes globally.
  • Develop and implement standardized risk mitigation strategies, accounting for regional variations and operational environments.
  • Provide expert recommendations for maintenance, repair, or replacement based on international best practices and industry guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough root-cause analysis on crane systems across global locations to address underlying causes of failures or malfunctions.
  • Lead risk-based reviews on crane components, obsolescence studies, and develop critical spares listings in line with client maintenance strategies.
  • Conduct condition monitoring analysis, including slew bearing deferrals, ensuring compliance with HSE requirements.
  • Lead GAP analysis studies on client equipment to demonstrate compliance with standards, legislation, and industry best practices.
  • Lead or assist in incident investigations related to equipment integrity and reliability, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers on applicable standards, compliance, and legislation.

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified, preferably in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Chartered/Incorporated Accreditation or actively working towards it.
  • HND/HNC/NVQL3 with relevant experience will be considered.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge and experience in FMECA, Maintenance, and Spares holding Philosophies.
  • Familiarity with Kelvin Tops Set Investigation methods (or similar).
  • BOSIET & MIST certification.
  • Strong managerial and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and supervise others.
  • Capability to teach and mentor others.
  • Methodical and dynamic approach.
  • Good understanding of HSEQ requirements across the industry.
  • Sound IT skills, including MS Project, Excel, and Word.

Expected salary: £45000 – 55000 per year
