Summary of Senior Interior Designer Role An innovative and award-winning interior design studio based in central London is looking for a Senior Interior Designer. This is an internationally distinguished studio recognised for their sophisticated and bespoke luxury hospitality and F&B project. This opportunity is looking for an individual who has successfully worked on technical hospitality projects from conception to completion for 6+ years. If you have exceptional organisation, communication, and management skills and can demonstrate your proven skills in delivering impeccable design this is the studio for you.
Senior Interior Designer Job Description
- Create and present Concept designs for Director review
- Develop full-concept presentations
- Drive project progress and efficiency
- Possess a minimum of 6 years’ experience in hospitality design
- Handle site meetings, reviews, joinery workshops, implementation, and snagging
- Demonstrate advanced skills in AutoCAD
- Excel in communication, both verbal and written, with exceptional attention to detail
- Manage projects efficiently, ensuring adherence to program and budget
- Build and enhance existing client relationships
- Lead teams of at least 3 members, motivating and organizing for successful project delivery
Skills Necessary for this Senior Interior Designer Role
- Extensive design and industry knowledge, with a solid track record of successful projects
- Proven ability to create and develop compelling conceptual designs
- Hands on experience in FF&E selection, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement
- Thorough experience leading projects from inception to completion, assuming full responsibility
- Efficient in time management, resourcing, and adept at managing project teams
- Skilled in dealing with clients, contractors, and suppliers in a highly professional manner
- Ability to provide expert advice to clients and stakeholders on design, construction, technical, and regulatory aspects of projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign
- Self-motivated, efficient organisation, and excellent communication skills as a valuable team player
- A degree in interior design or equivalent
