This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multinational Entertainment business based in Newcastle. With a huge presence in the US, EMEA, APAC and LATAM, this business is looking to expand their legal function in line with their prosperous international growth. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the General Counsel and the wider international legal team on a range of matters, including; commercial contracts, IP, data protection, dispute resolution and much more. The BusinessThis business is a well-established, multinational Entertainment business based in Newcastle. With hubs dotted across the globe and due to recent expansion, they are looking to add an ambitious Commercial Lawyer to join their EMEA legal team.The business is currently expanding and making connections with an increasing number of clients in EMEA, APAC and the Middle East regions. They foresee continual growth over the coming months and years and require you to take a lead role during this period.The RoleThe business is seeking a 4-9 PQE Commercial Lawyer to join their high-performing in-house legal team of 9 based across the EMEA region. You will be tackling a wide range of commercial contracts, incl; marketing/sponsorship agreements, NDAs, consultancy agreements, technology agreements and much more. You will also be working alongside senior stakeholders to provide legal and strategic advice on a range of business matters.You will be reporting to the Legal Director and General Counsel, as well as taking on management duties for 2 junior team members.
