Job description: A Senior Logistics planner is required to have the responsibility of overall fleet planning and freight allocation for a feet of c100 across multiple sites across the country.This role will work closely with the current Senior Logistics Manager with a job share structure of AM/PM shifts.The role has the responsibility for overall fleet planning and freight allocation across the organisation’s fleet. This fleet size being c100 vehicles running across multiple sites.Opportunity in Transport for **Senior Logistics Planner ** |Based in the South West
- Able to demonstrate experience within the Transport industry including freight planning and vehicle utilisation.
- Ability to freight plan for c100 vehicles daily, which operate from several sites .
- An understanding of differing modes of road transport.
- Ability to collaborate with operational departments within the business.
- Good IT skills and a customer focused approach.
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment, with a pragmatic problem solving way of thinking.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently within a team and individually.
