Are you ready to join our team?As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Senior Management AccountantThe successful candidate can expect to:Be looking to continue their development in an Engineering and Manufacturing company to gain knowledge in all aspects of a Finance function and reporting to a US parent.Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the team through the month end close to meet reporting deadlines
  • Reporting actual and forecast with variance analysis
  • Uploading results to OneStream and developing spreadsheets
  • Coordinate and review business financial risks and opportunities
  • Prepare 5 Year Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve the accuracy of data and forecasts
  • Track development projects by sales and cost to calculate revenue recognition, work with Engineers to forecast remaining costs and understand variances
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Operations team to improve SIOP, optimise inventory, minimise E&O and scrap
  • Identify and deliver continuous process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with Corporate policies and UK GAAP for Statutory Accounts
  • Work within a Sarbanes-Oxley environment, document and maintain own controls
  • Provide internal and external audit support

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong systems skills, to identify and develop reporting needs

Desirable Criteria:

  • Working knowledge of OneStream desirable
  • Experience of Engineering or manufacturing environment desirable
  • Experience of working within a Sarbanes-Oxley or other controlled environment beneficial
