We have a strong preference for the individual in this role to be based in Bentonville, Arkansas (relocation package provided,) but can be somewhat flexible depending on requested location – ideally near major airport. You can anticipate traveling ~30% in this role.What you’ll do…

  • Develop strategy, build mechanisms, and drive results to increase automation utilization and eligibility through a cross-functional workstream for First Mile Networks (Consolidation, Imports, & Fashion), incorporating downstream automation transformation implications
  • Perform end-to-end business case retrospectives and develop balanced scorecards for First Mile automation assets, identifying gaps through data and analytics and providing recommendations to drive business results
  • Engage with Merchants, Transportation, Supply Chain Optimization, and Quality partners to influence case packaging standards, supplier cost of goods, and inventory ordering methodologies to reduce cost and improve store in-stock
  • Develop automation transformation roadmap through robust Network CPCS Models and Activity Based Costing Models incorporating First Mile Strategies to inform direction needed for development of emerging technologies
  • Standardize operational performance metrics and develop consistent method for data capture.
