Position Overview
Autodesk is seeking an experienced and business-focused Senior Manager of Consulting Delivery for Automotive, Design and Make Manufacturing.
Reporting to Senior Director of Enterprise Customer Success and as a key member of the ECS EMEA leadership team, you will lead a Consulting team of managers and individual contributors providing critical value to our most important customers in the Automotive and Manufacturing industry.
You must be passionate about driving transformational customer outcomes and building a services team. Who loves service delivery, has a talent for nurturing customer relationships, and is comfortable engaging across all levels of the customer organisation. You bring an experience in professional services delivery, collaboration (internally and externally), and the ability to position and deliver services with measurable results/outcomes.
We support hybrid or remote working schedule for this role.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team, responsible for Consulting Delivery, and contribute to overall customer success and adoption
- Develop and meet strategic plans that ensure the Automotive and Manufacturing Consulting delivery teams meet our objectives and contribute to customer success
- Identify and define the strategic Automotive and Manufacturing Consulting Delivery requirements; build capacity plans to meet these needs
- Become a strategic partner to Sales and Customer Success Manager leadership teams by presenting ideas, leading discussions and formulating solutions
- Build organisational understanding around long and short-term regional Consulting Delivery plans
- Use Customer Success Organisation processes and best practices to ensure Autodesk customers are provided with solutions while ensuring return on investment for both parties
- Identify the technical, functional, and consulting skills required for the success of Autodesk Consulting Services, and collaborate with Human Resources to recruit individuals of the highest calibre
- Develop and assess Autodesk Consulting professionals in the technical, business, and consulting skills essential to customers
- Collaborate with other Autodesk Global Services leaders to ensure excellent professional services for all of Autodesk Global Services partners worldwide
- Interact with executives or major customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as dealing with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to us
- Responsible for management and development of resources (including consultants, vendors and remote workers, in different time zones)
- Responsible for selection, mentoring, performance management and assessment, and recognition. This includes team building with those from other units who participate on projects. Ensure performance management and rewards guidelines are followed within own team
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of delivering and leading consulting projects and staff within a professional services organisation in a technical industry Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field such as Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent)
- Experience developing close working relationships with major account sales teams and other teams
- Established experience with accountability and responsibility for deliverables in a global professional services organisation
- Demonstrated ability in creating a culture of integrity, while striving for excellent customer service
- Expertise in recruiting, training, developing, and inspiring professionals
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- The position may include up to 50% travel
